The range of services at the University Hospital Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is broad and includes the latest developments in seizure monitoring, diagnosis and treatment. The Center has dedicated resources to improve epilepsy patient care.
EMU40™ EEG
The Epilepsy Center has introduced a new piece of equipment, the EMU40™ EEG amplifier. The wireless technology built into this new equipment allows patients to move around the Epilepsy Center while still being monitored by epilepsy specialists, ensuring safe patient care. The EMU40™ EEG is able to accurately measure a patient’s physiology even when they are in motion.
