Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physicians

Regional Clinical Care

In 2007, UofL Health Care launched its regional clinical care initiative. As part of UofL Health Care’s effort to share its expertise with other health facilities in Kentucky, high-risk obstetrics was one of the specialty areas included in the plan.

The partnership provides Kentucky hospitals, which may not specialize in high-risk pregnancies, an opportunity to collaborate with the leading physicians in maternal-fetal medicine at UofL Health Care. The regionalization plan ensures women in Kentucky are receiving the best possible care during pregnancy.
