Mission Statement
Our nursing mission at the University of Louisville Hospital and the James Graham Brown Cancer Center is to provide patients exceptional care by integrating evidence-based knowledge, integrity and compassion.
Our Philosophy
As members of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, we welcome the challenge of providing exceptional nursing care to patients in a dynamic, complex and culturallydiverse environment.
This philosophy of our Department of Nursing is based on the mission, goals and values of the UofL Health Care Nursing team. It also reflects on the beliefs and values of the nursing profession. At the heart of all of these is a dedication to excellence and outstanding patient care.
Our Goals
The values and beliefs listed below guide us toward the achievement of our goals established by the Department of Nursing in May 2010.
